The Legends Over The Years

Every once in a while, it is important for us to understand what we are working towards. We have tears of stats recorded and what good is it if we don’t share it from time to time. This week I wanted to share the complete list of all teams in the league this year and what they have done over their careers. The teams will be listed based on the total number of wins they have recorded in their career.

If I did not mention your awards, it’s because you never responded to my test to send me the awards you’ve won over the years, same for the images.

When it comes to wins and career points scored there is no one better than Luke. Since the league started back in 2014, we knew Luke would be a legend from day one. Luke made it to the league’s championship in his very first season in the league. He is one of two teams to have ever recorded multiple division titles with a total of three. In 2015, Luke also added a scoring title to his name. As you know, throughout the season, we also battle for the season awards. Luke is no stranger to regular season awards either. In 2018, Luke brought home the season MVP award thanks to his amazing 11-2 record that year. The year 2020 was probably the most special for Luke. Luke made history by being the very first team to have recorded 50 career wins. 2021 was also another great year. Luke brough home the Top Performer, Commissioner Special and the Annihilator award. His margin of victory of 99.46 still remains the largest in league history. Luke has no doubt had an HOF career. The fact that he’s still in his prime, just let’s up know it will only get better from here.

Coming in at number two on our list is Mark. Do you feel the fear that is running through your body when Reggie turns and look at you? Well, that is the same fear Mark has put in many of us over the years. Mark is one of only two teams to have scored over 14,000 career points. in league history. in 2022 Mark had an amazing year. He set the league record for most points in a season with over 1900 points. Mark is also the only owner to have scored 200 points in a playoff game.

On a side note, I would like to say thank you to Mark, because none of this would be possible without him. We should all be grateful for the leadership he’s shown over the years. I admire Mark’s desire to make this league better by appoint new members to join the league’s executive committee. If Mark were to ever give up his commissioner position, i probably will too, I couldn’t imagine doing this without him. Mark is also on the verge on etching his name in the HOF one day as well.

The original Legend of the League! Bill is the first owner to have every engraved his name into history. Bill is one win away from recording his 70 of his career, an amazing accomplishment that some can only dream of. Bill is one of only two teams to have their names next to all of the league’s career records being tracked with a division and scoring title and two championships. Bill may not be having the best season at the moment, but i am not concerned about a guy who’s made the playoffs for seven straight years to start his career. Bill is another Hall of Famer in my book.

I know I have used the term HOF a few times. When I used that term before i was talking about guys who will be in the HOF one day. When I use the term to describe Chris, I’m referring to present day. Chris is the Goat. Chris has done things that many of us can only dream of. He is the first champion to have led the league in wins and points scored back in 2019. since we are speaking of first, he is also the first and only person to win back-to-back titles. Most importantly, he is the first person to win 3 championships and labeled the G.O.A.T. Some of us may not be convinced that Chris is the GOAT, well, all I can say is come back to me and let me know when you have your own page and trophy in the league.

The Greatest!

T is a man among boys. While everyone else is playing Checkers he’s miles ahead in the chess game. T has two championships to his name, but he is tied for the most playoffs win in league history with 12. As the current defending champion, it is amazing watching everyone try their hardest to take what belongs to you. T doesn’t have to try to win, it comes naturally to him, but he fuels off of watching everyone else pour their heart out to try and win games to becomes a champion like he currently is. I am fairly confident that after this season, T will be holding the trophy for a second straight year.

The spice is nice! Ryan is one of my favorite people to write about. Some people win with finest, but not Ryan, he wins with brutality. Ryan is the one person that I will say many people fear. He knows how to draft and he knows how to score points on a weekly basis which is why he is the only person with multiple division titles in the entire leg history. This is even after he missed two years. Ryan is a fantasy genius and legend and I’m looking forward to this show continuing for years to come.

The picture above needs no caption and if you were not around during this time you have missed the greatest moment of your life. I usually give many thanks to Mark for starting this league, but I think we also need to give many thanks to Jesse for being our party host for many years. If it was not for Jesse, we would probably not know what it means to have a good time. Jesse will have a great opportunity to get his career record above .500 for his career at some point this season. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my son all grown up. The Big Green Banana is on a mission to make it back to the finals with hopes of being crowned the 2023 champ.

The most exciting and up and coming legend in the league is Cam. I remembered the days when we all loved Cam because he was an easy win on our schedules, now we all hate him because he’s demolishing everyone who steps in his way. Of all the different regular season trophies in the league, Cam has engraved his name into multiple different ones. One of my personal favorites, is The Commissioner Special Award. This award was first introduced in 2019 and Cam was the first person to win this award. Cam is also a winner of the Turkey Stuffer, Annihilator, Division Title and the newly introduced Chris Cummings Prime Time Award. Cam is currently the top dog here in 2023 and the first person to score 1,000 points on the season. Dawkins was one of my favorite players, now i have to add Cam to that list as well.

RJ is the of those teams who sometimes seem ok just getting by. He is Mr. Resilient which is why it is tough to ever count him out. When a guy can come back from a 2-6 start to win a championship, you always have to respect him. RJ has some work to do to get his team above a winning percentage which we all know he can accomplish. Despite not have a division ro scoring title to his name, he does have a championship to his name. Let’s see if Rj can find that resiliency to finish the season strong.

Jason is the man that stepped up to the plate in 2015 and saved the day. Mr. Jankzz currently does not have any division or scoring titles to his name but there is still time. One of the most impressive things Jason has done this year was put an end to Cam’s win streak. Since that Loss, Cam can’t seem to figure it out. Sometimes the little things go a long way.

Some people get T-bagged, some get the facials, some get gagged but none of those compared to the Shady Shaker! Matt is having an excellent season so far. He is on the verge of taking over the number seed with a win in rivalry week. Speaking of rivals, Shady is the league’s first Ultimate Rival. He did lose that title to Mark last year but I am sure he will be looking to regain his crown in 2023. Shady also has a chance to break into the 10,000 career points at some point this season.

Walt is once again in some trouble. We are almost to the halfway point in the season and Walt is already at the bottom of the league. This is not a great place to be. Teams that usually start here, end here because the league does not allow them to rise to the top. Walt is a work in progress and his record proves it.

Tyler may not be the best at playing fantasy football, but he surely has the best taste in football players. We all know Lawerence is the greatest player to ever walked the face of this earth! Tyler has had his fair share of struggles over the years, and they are continuing here in 2023. for Tyler’s sake, i hope he continues to find ways to be better in the future so he could have a much better career record.

I would first like to congratulate Paul on a member of this league. There is a list of folks waiting to join this league, so if you’re here, be grateful. There is not much respect you’re going to get form the Ambassador until you make a name for yourself. For now, welcome and best of luck for the remainder of the year and we’ll see if you have what it takes to survive and compete in The League of Legends!
