Congratulations once again to Cam for breaking the previous league record for most points scored in a season. The 10th year of the league has brought us many wonderful memories. We have seen Cam have his best season ever. Not only was this a personal best for Cam but it was also one of the if not the greatest season the league has ever experienced.
Based on this performance, Cam will now join the Griffin brothers as the only owners that have a week named after them. Week 4 is named after Luke for being the first owner to record 50 career wins. Week 11 named after Ryan for being the first team to win 8 straight games and now week 14 after Cam for after being the first owner to score 2,000 points.
Some of Cams highlights for the season are below:
- Week 3: record-breaking weekly high score of 211.14
- Three weekly high scores for over 500 points
- 2023 Division winner
- 2023 Homewrecker Award
I am sure this list will grow once all the awards are finalized for the year. 2,000 points just don’t come overnight.
You need some real superstars to get you there and Cam had some of the best in the game.
# 2 overall fantasy player
Cam has been putting a beatdown on his opponents all season long. I am sure if you ask any of Cam’s victim’s how it feels to lose to him, I am sure they will say it “HURTS”
# 5 overall fantasy player
You all know the deal when it comes to CMC. This is fantasy gold. The number 1 running back almost every week is the number 5 fantasy player to date. Mccaffrey was the driving force that powered Cam to 2,000 on the season.
# 11 overall fantasy player
Allen was one point away from being in the top 10. Regardless, Cam has assembled a Jaggernauth, and he will not be stopped this season.
There is only one thing left for Cam to do right now and that is to get his first career playoff win against RJ this week. With the year Cam has been having, he could easily get 3 wins this year and I think we all know what that means!
