Luke Griffin Week 4 Recap

I know some of you were probably looking forward to reading about your week 4 accomplishments. My guess is Chris was looking forward to us talking about him being 4-0 or Walt getting his first win. Maybe we will in week 5 because this week is all about Luke. For those of you who don’t know or need a refresher, Week 4 is dedicated to Luke……forever! The reason for this is because Luke was the first owner to record 50 career wins back in week 4 of the 2020 season. Luke has not looked back since that day. The one thing Luke does better than anyone is win. Luke is currently sitting at 78 career wins, which is the most in league history. Speaking of wins, let’s review Luke’s rise to the top

Luke started his Legends career back in 2014. Luke finished his inaugural season with a 7-6 record and a trip to the finals.

In 2015 Luke came back and led the league with 9 wins and also secured his first scoring title with over 1800 runs.

Apparently, someone said Luke’s leading 9 wins were a fluke, so guess what he did? He came back in 2016 and lead the league again with another 9-win season.

Luke decided to give someone else a chance to shine in 2017. word on the street was he was Ryan was so impressed with Luke’s ability to win multiple division titles that Ryan asked Luke for lessons. Well, it appears Ryan took notes because Ryan came led the league with 10 wins in 2017.

After proving he could do it in back-to-back years, then teaching his brother how to do it and sat back and watch it come to fruition, it was time for Luke to retake the reigns. fats forward to 2018, Luke came back in 2018 and led the league once again with 11 wins, just an absolute masterpiece!

Luke has won a total of 4 in season awards.

  • 2018 MVP award winner
  • Commissioner Special Award winner
  • Annihilator award winner
  • Top Performer winner

I am sure there is more room in the trophy case and Luke will look to fill those spots here in 2024.

2024

Luke is off to a 2-2 start on the year. Remember his brother we mentioned earlier? Well Luke had to continue to maintain dominance by starting the year with a win over Ryan. Following his victory over Ryan, Luke was then faced an almost impossible task when World Boss came knocking. Luke came up short but nevertheless he put up a tremendous fight.

Luke is a Legend, and legends always finds a way to claw back into the win column which is exactly what he did against Matt in week 3. Luke eventually fell to The Eagle Empire in week 4, however, there is nothing to be ashamed of here as both of Luke’s losses came against opponents with championships. They were not easy battles but regardless, Luke continues to lead every single owner with a career high 78 wins. Luke will be on a mission to get career win number 79 against Flat Earthers in week 5.

Congratulations once again to Luke for his outstanding career to date. You have set the foundation and open doors for others to follow in your footsteps. Keep up the amazing work!
