Happy Independence Day
Hello Legends,
I hope you are all getting excited for the upcoming season. Prior to drafting this year, we have a few important announcements to make that could affect the way some of us will draft. We are working on making the Ballers league as similar to the Legends league as much as possible.
We are going to start with a few changes to the Legends league that we would like to share. Four trophies will be removed from the league and four new trophies will be added. The details are below.

Now for those of you who have not been fortunate enough to win one of the trophies that are being removed, I’m sorry, but maybe you will have better luck with the new awards.
Here is a brief explanation as to why we’re making these changes. As Mark and I mentioned, everything we do is for you guys. Every year we re-evaluate the league and decided on potential changes to make things better.
The commissioner special is being removed because this award usually goes to the person that had the receiver or rb that had an amazing game or season. Now that we have a trophy for specifically a wr and a rb, we could potentially have multiple winners. We sometimes also present this to the person that breaks a record. We have The Lions of the League page, so a trophy is not needed for that.
There is not much interest that gets shown at the end of the season for the hidden gem award. The nominations are extremely low, and no one ever really talks about this award so we’re going to remove it.
The home of the brave and homewrecker awards were trial awards for the past two seasons. The winner of these awards is based on how CBS sets the schedule. It has worked out well for the most part. Some teams were split evenly with 7 home games and 7 away games, while some were 6 home and 8 away or 8 home and 6 away. Either way everyone had a fair shot at winning one or the other. We’re not 100% with it not being evenly split down the middle so we’re going to remove these awards.
Added Awards – For the QB, RB and WR, all you need to do is have the highest scoring player at their respective position at the end of the regular season and the award is. It could be a player you drafter, traded for or even a free agent stud.
We’ve talked before about a trophy for rivalry week and now we’re getting one. All rivalry week winners will have their name appear on the trophy at next year’s draft. We haven’t decided on names for the new trophies yet, but we’ll figure those out before the start of the season.
