Week 8 Rivalries
Week 8 will bring a unique aspect to our league this year. Normally CBS handles our schedule where we all play each other once. With the NFL giving us an extra game, we have decided to utilize it by adding rivalry week! During rivalry week we all play our direct competition. The # 1 seed plays the # 2 seed, # 13 plays # 14 etc. Important tiebreakers are on the line. Let the games begin!!

These are the moments we all live for!
Week 7 will bring a lot of exciting matchups and this will be the most exciting of them all. Once again, we still have not hit rivalry week and here we are with the #1 and #2 teams facing off against each other. RJ is currently sitting at the top of the standings sitting at 5-1. RJ comes into week 7 riding a nice 3 game win streak and is the second in points scored so far this season. Ryan is tied for the division lead with a 5-1 record as well. Both RJ and Ryan are fighting to win their first division winner trophy. The longest win streak is currently at 7. I am sure both teams have the streak in their sights as well. I can’t wait to see how this one ends. let’s see who wants it more!!
Both RJ and Ryan are legends in my book. Let’s prepare ourselves for a legendary showdown!!!
Game of Week 6
The Steel Curtain vs Rugknuckles
We are just going to get right to the point here. We’re looking for RJ to keep Bill Winless. Normally winless teams aren’t included in the game of the week. However, when Bill was known for his winning ways, he received all the attention. I think it’s only fair he receives the same attention as we continue to track his fall from greatness. The game of the week image says it all. Bill will be running for his life in week 6. We have the #1 overall team in the league facing off against the #114 team. Let’s hope RJ could keep winning and keep Bill wishing we drafted online. Alright, I get it, we only have 14 teams in the league so Bill can’t be #114. Let’s just hope he’s enjoying the limited time he has left to hold onto the championship trophy. Rj has a great opportunity to remain as the top dog after week 6, don’t blow it, leave the blowing to Bill!!

Suck My Ditka vs World Boss
Why are we waiting until week 8 for rivalry week? This is your rivalry week right here # 1 vs # 2 going at it in week 5. Ryan was tied for the most wins in the 2017 season before he left the league. He then returned in 2020 and made a trip to the finals. If that wasn’t enough, Ryan is the only team heading into week 5 with a three-game win streak. T is coming off a walk over win against our current champ. Before taking out Bill, T also took care of our 2017 champ Mr. I love you long time RJ. T is looking to end Ryan’s 3 game win streak to start his own 3 game win streak. World Boss is also coming off a week 4 high score and is currently leading the league with most points scored. A win by Ryan would put Ryan on a 4-game win streak which would be the longest so far this year. This will be a showdown for the ages so get your popcorn ready!!!

Two of the four remining undefeated teams will be facing off in week 3. Cory continues to make winning look easy. Nate is now starting to get a taste of what it feels like to be a winner and he’s hungry for more. Both teams have what it takes to remain perfect, however it will come down to whoever wants it more. Heading into week 3 Nate is sitting on 265 points and Cory at 269. Let’s see who is going to remain perfect after week 3. Good luck to both teams.

Here we go again!! Week two is upon is upon us and it’s time for our game of the week. Nate, as i mentioned last week, you made me very proud. Last year you were the laughing stock of the league but this year i’m you biggest fan! I can’t wait to see what you have instore for us in week 2. After Luke’s week one performance something became very clear to me. No one will be catching Luke in wins, points or awesomeness. Both teams scored over 150 points in week 1. I expect to see even more fireworks here in week 2. Nate, keep in mind you’re going against a guy who has week 4 named after him. Luke, I need you to remember I spoke to Nate last week and the only thing he wants to accomplish the week is to beat you worst than he did your brother last week.

Game of Week 1
As you all know, the champ is automatically featured in our game of the week! As we sit here today, Bill is our first and last champion of The League of Legends. I want you guys to keep this in mind. Every morning for the next four months, Bill will be waking up to two championship rings, a championship trophy and our newest addition, the Belt!!! Mark is going to get the first shot at making Bill’s road to repeat difficult. I am inclined to go with the champ for the opener. I’m sure Mark is determined and wants to come out strong but it’s hard to go against the champ. Bill has opened the last four seasons with a win and I expect that streak to continue. Both teams have done well over the years. It will be a great matchup to open our season. There are only three teams in the league that have 50 career wins. Mark and Bill are two of the three owners to have reached this milestone.
