There will not be a game of week 10. This is what I enjoy about the second half of the season. One week you could have a game of the week and the next you could have the focus of the week.
This week we will be focusing on the two most important teams in the league and their quest to achieve greatness. However, before we get to those teams, I would like to share a few quotes that will live in infamy.
“Sorry guys I needed more players and Cam was the one who came at me with his whole bench”
“4 players that score 10 points is better than 1 that scores 30”
Now to our focus teams of the week.
The first team we will focus on is the guys who was at the center of making the above quotes a reality. None other than our 2022 division champ and current division leader, Yo Belichick Yo Self!
Cam is on track to shatter the league’s record for the most points in a season. The current record is 1911.2 which was set by Mark in 2022. For a quick comparison, after week 9 of the 2022 season, Mark was sitting at 1239.5 points on the season. Cam is currently sitting at 1324.9. Cam is averaging 147 points a game and he needs to average less than 118 points a game to capture the record to himself. If Cam were to break the record, it will be his first career scoring title. Cam’s newly acquired weapon will make his quest to greatness so much easier. We will be tracking this weekly so everyone will receive the breaking news when the time comes!
Now to our second focus of the week.
The person already has multiple division and scoring titles and now he is setting his sights on the win streak title.
Suck My Ditka! that’s right folks. Ryan finished last season on a five-game win streak. Halfway through this season, he is currently on a six-game winning streak. Ryan is one game away from tying the league’s longest win streak of 7 games. If Ryan makes it to seven straight, he would be tied with Bill, Luke, Chris and Cam. I am sure Ryan would like to see his name all alone with a new win streak record, which is why his week 11 matchup will be even more exciting.
Week 11 will be one of the most important weeks for Ryan. Not only could he be going after the win streak record, but he could also be going after first place in the division. If Ryan were to capture another division title this year, it would move him past three which means he would no longer be tied with Luke. Some people may HATE Ryan for being so good but I absolutely…
