Welcome to the third year of the week 8 rivalry games. Rivalry week was established when the NFL moved to an 18-game schedule. If you are truly serious about creating separation between you and your closest competition, this is the week to do it.
The goal for rivalry week is simple, be the highest scoring team of the week and be crowned The Ultimate Rival. The very person to be crowned was Shady, followed by Mark the following year.
The beauty about this week is we are all in the game of the week and control our own destiny.
This is the only week of the year where the top performer will receive $100 payday!!!!

The Eagle Empire – Week 8 Rivalry Recap

Astonishing! The Eagle Empire just put the league on notice with another mind blowing 200-point performance. Mark already holds the record for the highest playoff score with 200.3 and now he adds a regular season record to his name. We knew the matchup between Luke and Mark was going to be epic, what we didn’t know, was Mark had history in his sights. It was just a year ago that Luke set the record for the most points scored in a game with 194.32. Here we are in 2022 with Mark now breaking Luke’s record against the points master himself.
Move over Luke, there is a new King in town! King Henry played a major role is getting Mark over the 200-point milestone. This is something you don’t see every day, so we all need to savor this moment. I believe Mark had this planned from the beginning. He invented Rivalry week and what better way to stamp your name into the history books during the week you invented.
The Cheetah was also on fire for Mark in week 8. Tyreek dropped 31.5 points to help Mark sprint his way into the record books. It would be really exciting to watch Mark try and break his own record in the coming weeks. If he doesn’t break his own record, he may be putting up a lot of high scores which could potentially result in Mark dethroning Luke as the top performer. Mark is our current Top Performer leader with a total score of 376.5
